People simply act differently when they’re not behind a computer. I got a kick out of Rose being all “No??” instead of reciting one of the novels she usually writes in response to Dave’s weird questions.

ALSO I’m not surprised that all of Dave’s online swagger masks an incredible amount of emotional uncertainty and some degree of insensitivity. Interesting stuff.

Then again, Rose and Dave are siblings trapped on a boring road trip through the fucking afterlife with a handful of PTSD-afflicted aliens. I know I’ve snapped at my sister on every road trip we’ve ever been on.
