Man the sound design on this show is so good. The Galactica has been under disrepair from the stress of traveling for so long, so there’s this running soundtrack of the ship creaking and moaning under everyone’s dialogues, arguments, and fist fights.

The show gradually built up to this, too, including audio cues even before this repair arc started. I could swear the noises got louder and more frequent each season. Color me impressed.

Sound design is so cool! I wish I had been able to take a class in it before I graduated, but alas. My only training is sound designing a few undemanding theatre productions.
